Treiber says he made the video at an actual party.
"Of course we staged a few things in the video, but I wanted to keep it as real as possible to go along with the lyrics and meaning of the song."
Despite what the song suggests, Treibor says he tries to write positive music and encourages people to be safe when drinking.
"I don't necessarily encourage drinking," Treiber said. "In fact, I don't even drink at all. I try to stay more positive when writing my songs and write what is going to appeal to my audience. With that said, I do make a reference to friends keeping each other safe when partying in the song."
Voting for the fourth round of Music City Madness has begun and will continue through noon on Nov. 23. Voting takes place online at www.madness.cmt.com. Treiber says the amount of support he has received so far has been unbelievable.
"I have had tremendous support from family and friends," he said. "They are the reason I'm still in this (competition) and doing well. I want to thank everyone for their support."
The competition will narrow from eight to four acts on Tuesday. With the contest heating up and time running out, Treiber encourages everyone to get online and vote to keep him in the competition.
"It's really starting to get down to heavy competition," Treiber said. "Come Tuesday, there will only be four acts left, and I hope to be one of them. It's going to take a lot to win and I want to encourage everyone to get online, listen to my music and vote for me."
Treiber's music can be found on the CMT Web site, or at www.youtube.com.
